Kṛṣṇa Slays Kuvalayāpīḍa and Enters Kaṁsa’s Wrestling Arena
pūtanānena nītāntaṁ cakravātaś ca dānavaḥ arjunau guhyakaḥ keśī dhenuko ’nye ca tad-vidhāḥ
This verse summarizes that Kṛṣṇa personally brought Pūtanā, the whirlwind demon, Keśī, Dhenuka and other similar demons to their end, showing His divine protection and supremacy.
He recalls Kṛṣṇa’s earlier victories to emphasize that the Lord who entered Kaṁsa’s arena is the same Supreme protector who has already removed many threats, establishing confidence in Kṛṣṇa’s inevitable triumph.
Remembering Kṛṣṇa’s past protection strengthens faith during difficulties: obstacles that appear overwhelming can be faced with steadiness by taking shelter of devotion and trusting the Lord’s guidance.
