Transliteration

niśamya gītāṁ tad anaṅga-vardhanaṁ vraja-striyaḥ kṛṣṇa-gṛhīta-mānasāḥ ājagmur anyonyam alakṣitodyamāḥ sa yatra kānto java-lola-kuṇḍalāḥ

Translation

جب ورِنداون کی عورتوں نے کرشن کی بانسری کا وہ نغمہ سنا جو عشق کی آگ بھڑکاتا ہے تو ان کے دل شری کرشن کے قبضے میں آ گئے۔ وہ ایک دوسرے سے بے خبر، تیزی سے چل پڑیں؛ دوڑتے ہوئے ان کے جھمکے جھولتے تھے۔ وہ وہاں پہنچیں جہاں ان کا محبوب انتظار کر رہا تھا۔
