ते पालयन्त: समयमसुरा: स्वकृतं नृप । तूष्णीमासन्कृतस्नेहा: स्त्रीविवादजुगुप्सया ॥ २२ ॥
te pālayantaḥ samayam asurāḥ sva-kṛtaṁ nṛpa tūṣṇīm āsan kṛta-snehāḥ strī-vivāda-jugupsayā
اے بادشاہ، اسُروں نے جو عہد کیا تھا کہ ‘یہ عورت انصاف کرے یا ناانصافی، ہم اسے قبول کریں گے’—اس عہد کو نبھانے کے لیے، اور عورت سے جھگڑے کو ناپسندیدہ سمجھ کر، وہ خاموش رہے۔
