Brahmā Worships Vāmana; the Demons Attack; Bali is Bound and Questioned About the Third Step
te sarve vāmanaṁ hantuṁ śūla-paṭṭiśa-pāṇayaḥ anicchanto bale rājan prādravañ jāta-manyavaḥ
Because their anger was provoked, they charged at Vāmana with weapons, even though they were hesitant to oppose Bali’s stance—showing how wrath can override better judgment.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is narrating to Mahārāja Parīkṣit, describing how the demons advanced to attack Lord Vāmana.
Uncontrolled anger can push people into harmful actions even when they know it is wrong; devotion and discernment help restrain impulsive reactions.
