Dhanurveda-kathana (Exposition of Martial Science): Movements, Weapon-Operations, Combat Postures, and Battle Readiness
اس باب میں بھگوان اگنی میدانِ جنگ کی حرکات اور حملہ آور نقشوں کی فنی درجہ بندی بیان کرتے ہیں—بھرانت، اُدبھرانت، شَیْنَپات، آکُل وغیرہ—پھر تربیت اور تلاوت کے لیے جوڑی نام اور ساختی اکائیاں مقرر کرتے ہیں۔ آگے عملی نصاب آتا ہے: (1) کھڈگ-چرم (تلوار و ڈھال) کا طریقہ، بتیس حالتیں—پرتیالیڈھ، آلیڈھ، وراہ، لُلِت وغیرہ؛ (2) مَلّ یُدھ/کشتی کی چالیں—موڑنا، پکڑنا، اوپر/نیچے پٹخنا، روک کر رکھنا اور چھڑانا؛ (3) دَند/پاش بندھن کی اقسام اور ویست-پاش وغیرہ کے مقررہ اعمال؛ (4) چکر، شُول، تومر، گدا، پرشو، مُدگر، بھِندِپال، لگُڑ، وَجر، پٹّیش اور کھڈگ کے ہتھیار-خصوصی کرم، اور آخر میں یَنتَر-کرم (مشینی عملیات)۔ ہست-مدرائیں، جسمانی علامات/اثرات، اور حفاظتی/دوائی/رسمی اشیا بھی مذکور ہیں۔ اختتام میں ہاتھیوں اور رتھوں کی اسلحہ بندی، اَنگُش بردار، کمان دار، تلوار بردار اور ڈھال بردار کی تقرری، منتر سے ہتھیاروں کی تقدیس، اور بادشاہ کو یہ حکم کہ دھرم کے مطابق فتح کر کے پھر راج کی حفاظت کرے۔
