स्थानात् स्थानान्तरं कार्यं वृक्षाणां द्वादशावरं विफलाः स्युर्घना वृक्षाः शस्त्रेणादौ हि शोधनम्
sthānāt sthānāntaraṃ kāryaṃ vṛkṣāṇāṃ dvādaśāvaraṃ viphalāḥ syurghanā vṛkṣāḥ śastreṇādau hi śodhanam
درختوں کو ایک جگہ سے دوسری جگہ منتقل (پیوند/نقلِ مکانی) کرنا بارہ (مقررہ) مدت/پیمانے سے زیادہ نہ ہو۔ گھنے اور بہت بڑھے ہوئے درخت اکثر بے پھل ہو جاتے ہیں؛ اس لیے ابتدا میں آلے سے شُدھّی—یعنی کانٹ چھانٹ/تراش خراش—کرنی چاہیے۔
