FAQs

Ayurvedic preventive knowledge: do not provoke or suppress natural bodily urges (vega), and follow measured eating—two parts food and one part liquid—to maintain health.

It shows the Agni Purana’s scope beyond mythology by preserving practical Ayurvedic dietetics and hygiene principles (pathya and vega-niyama) as part of its wide-ranging instructional material.

Disciplined regulation of urges and moderation in intake supports purity of body and mind (śauca and sattva), helping steadiness in dharma-practice and reducing avoidable suffering.
