ऋषय ऊचुः ब्राह्मणी ब्राह्मणस्यैव यावरोधत्वमागता तावुभौ सूतिकेत्युक्तौ तयोरन्नं विगर्हितम्

ṛṣaya ūcuḥ brāhmaṇī brāhmaṇasyaiva yāvarodhatvamāgatā tāvubhau sūtiketyuktau tayorannaṃ vigarhitam

Sinabi ng mga rishi: “Ang isang babaeng Brāhmaṇa, na kasama ng isang Brāhmaṇa ay pumasok sa kalagayan ng pag-iingat/di-kadalisayan na kaugnay ng panganganak, silang dalawa ay tinatawag na ‘sūtikā’; at ang kanilang pagkain ay itinuturing na dapat iwasan.”
