Mandukya

अमात्रश्चतुर्थोऽव्यवहार्यः प्रपञ्चोपशमः शिवोऽद्वैत एवम् ओङ्कार आत्मैव संविशत्यात्मनाऽऽत्मानं य एवं वेद ॥१२॥

अ-मात्रः । चतुर्थः । अव्यवहार्यः । प्रपञ्च-उपशमः । शिवः । अद्वैतः । एवम् । ओङ्कारः । आत्मा-एव । संविशति । आत्मना । आत्मानम् । यः । एवम् । वेद ॥१२॥

amātraś caturtho 'vyavahāryaḥ prapañcopaśamaḥ śivo 'dvaita evam oṅkāra ātmā eva saṃviśaty ātmanātmānaṃ ya evaṃ veda ||12||

Ang Ikaapat ay walang mātrā, hindi saklaw ng pakikitungong pangkaraniwan, ang paghimlay ng lahat ng paglawak ng penomeno, mapalad at banal (śiva), at di-dalawa (advaita). Kaya ang Oṃkāra ay ang Sarili (Ātman) mismo. Sa Sarili, pumapasok siya sa Sarili—ang nakaaalam nang ganito.

The Fourth is without mora, not an object of transaction, the cessation of phenomenal expansion, auspicious, non-dual. Thus the Oṃkāra is the Self indeed. He enters the Self by the Self—whoever thus knows.
