Deductive (Dvārakā Māhātmya narrator within Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa; traditionally Sūta speaking in Purāṇic frame)
Tirtha: Cakratīrtha
Type: ghat
Listener: Pilgrims/vipras
Scene: On stone steps by the water, a pilgrim sits facing south for pitṛ-tarpaṇa, then turns to offer to devas; small bowls of water, sesame, and havis are arranged; he sprinkles sanctified water over offerings with devotion.
Pilgrimage dharma includes gratitude and obligation—honoring gods, ancestors, and society through ordered offerings.
This tarpaṇa sequence is prescribed within the Dvārakā Māhātmya’s Cakratīrtha rite-context.
Perform tarpaṇa to Pitṛs, Devas, and humans in order, then do prokṣaṇa (sprinkling) of havis materials with devotion.
