गोमत्यां स्नाति यो भक्त्या माघं माधववल्लभम् । समाप्तौ रक्तवस्त्राणि कञ्चुकोष्णीषमेव च
gomatyāṃ snāti yo bhaktyā māghaṃ mādhavavallabham | samāptau raktavastrāṇi kañcukoṣṇīṣameva ca
Sinumang may debosyon na naliligo sa Ilog Gomatī sa buong buwan ng Māgha—na minamahal ni Mādhava—sa pagtatapos ng panata ay dapat maghandog ng pulang kasuotan, at gayundin ng tunika at putong sa ulo.
