Tirtha: Gomatī snāna (Dvārakā)
Type: ghat
Scene: Pilgrims, bodies anointed with sacred clay, enter the river in an orderly manner; a priest leads Vedic recitation; the scene transitions toward a ‘phala’ proclamation.
Ritual purity is completed through correct sequence—mṛttikā application, mantra, and lawful bathing—leading to promised spiritual results.
The bathing rite pertains to the Gomatī tīrtha in the Dvārakā region.
Smear sacred clay, bathe per rule, and recite the Vedic formula ‘āpo asmān…’ during the bath.
