Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 8
उक्त्वा बाढमिति ब्रह्मा ततः सृष्टौ मनो दधे । ससर्ज मानसात्सद्यः सनकाद्यान्कुमारकान् । उवाच वचनं ब्रह्मा प्रजाः सृजत पुत्रकाः
uktvā bāḍhamiti brahmā tataḥ sṛṣṭau mano dadhe | sasarja mānasātsadyaḥ sanakādyānkumārakān | uvāca vacanaṃ brahmā prajāḥ sṛjata putrakāḥ
Pagkasabi ng “Mangyari nawa,” itinuon ni Brahmā ang isip sa paglikha. Mula sa kanyang diwa ay agad niyang nilikha ang mga batang pantas, simula kina Sanaka, at sinabi ni Brahmā sa kanila: “Mga anak ko, lumikha kayo ng mga nilalang.”
