यस्याः सकृज्जलस्नानं स्पर्द्धते ब्रह्मविद्यया । तेन वै गोमती सेयं सर्वतीर्थोत्तमोत्तमा । ब्रह्मज्ञानेन मुच्यंते प्रयागमरणेन वा । स्नानमात्रेण गोमत्यां मुच्यते पूर्वजैः सह
yasyāḥ sakṛjjalasnānaṃ sparddhate brahmavidyayā | tena vai gomatī seyaṃ sarvatīrthottamottamā | brahmajñānena mucyaṃte prayāgamaraṇena vā | snānamātreṇa gomatyāṃ mucyate pūrvajaiḥ saha
Sa kanya, ang isang pagligo lamang sa tubig ay nakapapantay sa kapangyarihang nagliligtas ng kaalamang Brahman. Kaya ang Gomati ay tunay na pinakadakila sa lahat ng tīrtha. Ang kalayaan (moksha) ay nakakamtan sa pagsasakatuparan ng Brahman o sa pagkamatay sa Prayāga; ngunit sa pagligo lamang sa Gomati, napapalaya ang tao—kasama ang kanyang mga ninuno.

The tīrtha’s grace can accelerate liberation: Gomati at Dvārakā is praised as a supreme purifier whose snāna bestows freedom, even benefiting one’s lineage.
The Gomati River (Gomatī-tīrtha) associated with Dvārakā is declared the श्रेष्ठतम (supreme) among all tīrthas.
Snāna (ritual bathing) in the Gomati is explicitly praised as sufficient to confer liberation and ancestral uplift.
