Transliteration

atha viṣṇupadīṃ devīṃ śrutvā sāgarasaṃgatām | itastataḥ samājagmuḥ śraddadhānāḥ payasvinīm

Translation

Pagkaraan, nang mabalitaan na ang diyosang Viṣṇupadī (Gaṅgā) ay nakipagtagpo na sa karagatan, ang mga taong may pananampalataya ay nagtipon mula sa iba’t ibang dako patungo sa ilog na sagana sa tubig.
