Type: kshetra
Listener: (ṛṣis/audience, implicit)
Scene: Satī urges Sadāśiva to go to her father’s yajña even without invitation; her stance is firm, eyes intent; Śiva remains composed but grave, foreshadowing refusal.
Worldly duty and familial pull can pressure even the wise; the Purāṇas show how discernment must guide participation in public rites.
No specific tīrtha; the setting is Dakṣa’s yajña-venue.
Attendance at a yajña is urged, but no ritual method is prescribed.
