विललाप तदा बाला ह्रियमाणा मयोच्चकैः । मैवं मैवमिति ज्ञात्वा मां स्वरेणाब्रवीन्मुनिम्
vilalāpa tadā bālā hriyamāṇā mayoccakaiḥ | maivaṃ maivamiti jñātvā māṃ svareṇābravīnmunim
Noon, ang dalaga’y humagulgol habang siya’y tinatangay ko nang sapilitan. Nang makilala niya ako, sumigaw siyang nanginginig, “Huwag! Huwag!” at tinawag ang muni sa kanyang tinig.
