यावन्न हरिणाक्षीणामपांगविवरेक्षिताः । मया व्यवसितं चित्ते तदानीं तां जिहीर्षुणा

Transliteration

yāvanna hariṇākṣīṇāmapāṃgavivarekṣitāḥ | mayā vyavasitaṃ citte tadānīṃ tāṃ jihīrṣuṇā

Translation

Hangga’t hindi pa ako tinutusok ng mga sulyap sa sulok ng mata ng mga dalagang may matang gaya ng usa, nanatiling matatag ang pasya ng aking isip; ngunit nang sumiklab ang pagnanais na tangayin siya, ang pasyang iyon ay nanginig at nag-alinlangan.
