Type: kshetra
Listener: ‘Vāḍavāḥ’ (descendants of Vaḍavā)
Scene: Vāsudeva oversees preparations; the narrator announces the completion of Barbarīka’s origin story and begins the formal hymn that delights the Yakṣa-king.
Devotional praise (stotra) is presented as a direct means to please divine guardians and access their grace.
The verse introduces the stotra connected to Guptakṣetra’s protective deity (Barbarīka/Yakṣa-king).
Recitation of a stotra is introduced as efficacious for pleasing the Yakṣa-king.
