सूत उवाच । इति देव्या वचः श्रुत्वा विस्मयोत्फुल्ललोचनाः । पुनःपुनः प्रणम्यैनां नापश्यन्दीपवद्गताम्
sūta uvāca | iti devyā vacaḥ śrutvā vismayotphullalocanāḥ | punaḥpunaḥ praṇamyaināṃ nāpaśyandīpavadgatām
Sabi ni Sūta: Nang marinig nila ang mga salita ng Diyosa, lumaki ang kanilang mga mata sa pagkamangha. Paulit-ulit silang nagpatirapa sa Kanya, ngunit hindi na Siya nakita—umalis Siya na parang liyab ng lampara na naglaho sa paningin.
