yadi na kriyate pānamaṃgaprakṣālanaṃ tathā | tatkimarthaṃ pūrtadharmāḥ kriyante dharmaśālibhiḥ

Translation

Kung hindi dapat gawin ang pag-inom at ang paghuhugas ng mga sangkap ng katawan, ano pa ang layunin ng mga matuwid sa paggawa ng mga gawaing pampublikong kabutihan (pūrta-dharma)?
