आत्मानं पातके विष्टं शुभाह्व चिरकारिक । एवं स दुःखितः प्राप्तो गौतमोऽचिंतयत्तदा
ātmānaṃ pātake viṣṭaṃ śubhāhva cirakārika | evaṃ sa duḥkhitaḥ prāpto gautamo'ciṃtayattadā
“Nakikita ko ang aking sarili na lumulubog sa kasalanan, O Cirakārika na may mapalad na pangalan!” Sa gayon, si Gautama, dumating na nagdadalamhati, ay nagmuni-muni noon.
