इदं सत्यं वदामीति ब्रुवन्साक्षी भवान्यतः । शुभाशुभफलं देहि शुचिः पादौ रवेः स्वृशेत्
idaṃ satyaṃ vadāmīti bruvansākṣī bhavānyataḥ | śubhāśubhaphalaṃ dehi śuciḥ pādau raveḥ svṛśet
Sa pagsasabing, “Ito ang katotohanang sinasabi ko,” nararapat na maging saksi ang tao, na ang mga diyos ang saksi. Sa kalinisan ng katawan at loob, hipuin niya ang mga paa ni Aditya, ang Araw, at manalangin: “Ibigay Mo sa akin ang bunga—mabuti man o masama—ayon sa katotohanang aking sinabi.”
