Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta) (deduced from Māheśvarakhaṇḍa narrative convention)
Scene: An allegorical tableau: a person tormented by a serpent-like Jealousy coiling around the heart; nearby, figures of Intoxication and Anger fan the flames; in the background, a calm Śaiva/Kaumāra symbol (liṅga/vel) cools the scene with moonlight-like serenity.
Jealousy and delusion breed misery; when the mind is intoxicated or angry, attachment turns into pure defect—hence the need for restraint and clarity.
No tīrtha is referenced in this verse.
None; it is a moral diagnosis of inner poisons (īrṣyā, moha, krodha, rāga).
