Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 130

तस्य प्रोच्य भवान्धर्मांस्ततो मल्लोकमाव्रज । इत्युक्त्वा भगवान्रुद्रो लिंगमध्ये न्यलीयत

tasya procya bhavāndharmāṃstato mallokamāvraja | ityuktvā bhagavānrudro liṃgamadhye nyalīyata

Matapos ituro sa kanya ang mga banal na tungkulin, sinabi ng Mapalad na Rudra, “Pagkaraan, pumarito sa aking daigdig.” Pagkasabi nito, ang Panginoong Rudra ay muling lumubog at nagsanib sa pinakasentro ng Liṅga.
