Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 41

दशोत्तरेण पयसा वृतं तच्चापि तेजसा । तेजश्च वायुना वायुर्नभ साहंतया च तत्

Transliteration

daśottareṇa payasā vṛtaṃ taccāpi tejasā | tejaśca vāyunā vāyurnabha sāhaṃtayā ca tat

Translation

Ang balot na iyon ay natatakpan ng tubig na sampung ulit na higit pa, at ang tubig ay muling natatakpan ng apoy (tejas). Ang apoy ay binalot ng hangin, at ang hangin ay binalot ng kalawakan—bawat isa’y sampung ulit na mas malawak kaysa nauna.
