Transliteration

catuḥṣaṣṭisahasrāṇi kurudeśaḥ prakīrtitaḥ | sārdhalakṣastathā proktaḥ kirātavijayo jayaḥ

Translation

Ang lupain ng Kuru ay ipinahahayag na may animnapu’t apat na libong nayon. At ang Kirātavijaya—na tinatawag ding Jaya—ay sinasabing may isa’t kalahating lakha ng mga nayon.
