नारद उवाच । अव्यक्तोऽस्मिन्निरालोके प्रधानपुरुषावुभौ । अजौ समागतावेकौ केवलं श्रृणुमो वयम्
nārada uvāca | avyakto'sminnirāloke pradhānapuruṣāvubhau | ajau samāgatāvekau kevalaṃ śrṛṇumo vayam
Sinabi ni Nārada: “Sa kalagayang di-pa-hayag at walang liwanag na ito, naroon kapwa ang Pradhāna (pinagmulan ng Kalikasan) at ang Puruṣa (malay na Espiritu)—di-isinilang at magkakasama na parang iisa. Dinggin ninyo mula sa amin ang salaysay na ito ayon sa tunay na anyo nito.”
