श्रीभगवानुवाच । नैतत्तवोचितं स्कंद रुद्रभक्तो यथा श्रृणु । द्वे तनू गिरिजाभर्तुर्वेदज्ञा मुनयो विदुः
śrībhagavānuvāca | naitattavocitaṃ skaṃda rudrabhakto yathā śrṛṇu | dve tanū girijābharturvedajñā munayo viduḥ
Ang Pinagpalang Panginoon ay nagsabi: Ito ay hindi nararapat para sa iyo, O Skanda. Pakinggan mo kung ano talaga ang isang 'deboto ni Rudra'. Ang mga pantas na nakakaalam ng Veda ay nagpapahayag na ang Kabiyak ni Girijā ay may dalawang anyo.
