अज्ञासिष्म पुरैवैतद्रुद्रभक्तं न हंत्यसौ । यत्प्रतिज्ञां नाकरिष्यन्न स्यान्नः कदनं महत्

Transliteration

ajñāsiṣma puraivaitadrudrabhaktaṃ na haṃtyasau | yatpratijñāṃ nākariṣyanna syānnaḥ kadanaṃ mahat

Translation

Alam na namin noon pa: hindi niya pinapatay ang isang deboto ni Rudra. Kung hindi niya ginawa ang panatang iyon, hindi sana dumating sa atin ang ganitong malaking pagwasak.
