नारद उवाच । श्रुत्वैतं संस्तवं दैत्यः संघुष्टं देवबंदिभिः । सस्मार ब्रह्मणो वाक्यं वधं बालादुपस्थितम्

Transliteration

nārada uvāca | śrutvaitaṃ saṃstavaṃ daityaḥ saṃghuṣṭaṃ devabaṃdibhiḥ | sasmāra brahmaṇo vākyaṃ vadhaṃ bālādupasthitam

Translation

Sinabi ni Nārada: Nang marinig ng Daitya ang himnong ito na malakas na ipinahayag ng mga bard ng mga diyos, naalala niya ang salita ni Brahmā—na ang kanyang kamatayan sa kamay ng Banal na Sanggol ay ngayo’y nalalapit na.
