ब्रह्माणमाह दैत्यस्तु निर्मृत्युत्वमहं वृणे । ब्रह्मोवाच । न कश्चिच्च विना मृत्युं जंतुरासुर विद्यते
brahmāṇamāha daityastu nirmṛtyutvamahaṃ vṛṇe | brahmovāca | na kaścicca vinā mṛtyuṃ jaṃturāsura vidyate
Sinabi ng Daitya kay Brahmā, “Pinipili ko ang kalayaan mula sa kamatayan.” Sumagot si Brahmā, “O Asura, walang nilalang na may katawan na umiiral nang walang kamatayan.”
