नारद उवाच । सत्यमेतत्कुरुश्रेष्ठ श्रृणु तच्चापि कारणम् । येन तासां कृतं रूपं न वा शापं ददुश्च ताः
nārada uvāca | satyametatkuruśreṣṭha śrṛṇu taccāpi kāraṇam | yena tāsāṃ kṛtaṃ rūpaṃ na vā śāpaṃ daduśca tāḥ
Sinabi ni Nārada: “Totoo iyan, O pinakamainam sa mga Kuru. Pakinggan mo rin ang dahilan: kung bakit kinuha ni Svāhā ang kanilang anyo, at kung bakit hindi sila nagbitaw ng sumpa.”
