एवं ते लीयमानाश्च निहताः कालने मिना । दृश्यंते पतिता देवाः शस्त्रभिन्नंगसंधयः
evaṃ te līyamānāśca nihatāḥ kālane minā | dṛśyaṃte patitā devāḥ śastrabhinnaṃgasaṃdhayaḥ

Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta), narrating to the sages (deduced from Māheśvarakhaṇḍa context)
Scene: After the crushing press, Kālanemi’s weapons finish the rout; devas lie fallen across the field, bodies and joints split, banners drooping, the storm-dark sky hanging heavy above.
Even the mighty can fall when dharma’s order is disrupted; Purāṇas portray such reversals to highlight the necessity of divine protection and righteous alignment.
No specific tīrtha is mentioned in this verse.
