Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 23
एवं ते लीयमानाश्च निहताः कालने मिना । दृश्यंते पतिता देवाः शस्त्रभिन्नंगसंधयः
evaṃ te līyamānāśca nihatāḥ kālane minā | dṛśyaṃte patitā devāḥ śastrabhinnaṃgasaṃdhayaḥ
Kaya, habang sila ay dinudurog nang magkakasama, sila ay pinatay ni Kālanemi. Ang mga diyos ay nakitang nakahandusay, ang kanilang mga viyas at kasukasuan ay nahati ng mga sandata.
