Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 50

इत्युक्ताः समनह्यंत देवानां ये प्रधानतः । वाजिनामयुतेनाजौ हेमपट्टपरिष्कृताः

ityuktāḥ samanahyaṃta devānāṃ ye pradhānataḥ | vājināmayutenājau hemapaṭṭapariṣkṛtāḥ

Sa gayong utos, ang mga pangunahing diyos ay nagsuot ng sandata. Sa larangan ng digmaan, sila’y pinalamutian ng gintong kasangkapan, na may sampung libong kabayo sa kanilang tabi.
