sa ca daityeśvaraḥ kruddhaḥ samārūḍho mahāratham | daśabhiḥ śuśube daityairdaśabāhuriveśvaraḥ | jagaddhaṃtuṃ pravṛtto vā pratasthe'sau surānprati
At ang panginoon ng mga Daitya, sa matinding poot, ay sumakay sa dakilang karwaheng pandigma. Napalilibutan ng sampung Daitya, siya’y nagningning na wari’y isang panginoong may sampung bisig; na para bang nagnanais lipulin ang daigdig, siya’y humayo laban sa mga Deva.
