Transliteration

ahaṃ kūrmastadā jāto daśayojanavistṛtaḥ | samudrasalile nītastvayāhaṃ yajñasādhane

Translation

Noong panahong iyon, ako’y isinilang bilang Kūrma (pagong), sampung yojana ang lawak. Ikaw ang naghatid sa akin sa tubig ng karagatan upang maisakatuparan ang banal na yajña.
