Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 2
ब्रह्मोवाच । स्वस्थाने वाडवाः सर्वे हर्षनिर्भरमानसाः । अग्निहोत्रपरा केऽपि केऽपि यज्ञपरायणाः
brahmovāca | svasthāne vāḍavāḥ sarve harṣanirbharamānasāḥ | agnihotraparā ke'pi ke'pi yajñaparāyaṇāḥ
Sinabi ni Brahmā: “Ang lahat ng Vāḍava ay nanatili sa kani-kanilang wastong kalagayan, ang kanilang mga puso’y puspos ng galak. Ang ilan ay nakatuon sa Agnihotra, at ang ilan nama’y lubos na nakalaan sa mga yajña.”
