Sinabi ni Sūta: “O pinakamainam sa mga tao, sa Dharmavāpī ang tarpaṇa ay dapat isagawa sa loob ng isang buong taon; at kahit may paglihis sa panahon, buwan, o kalahating-buwan, hindi nagiging salungat ang bisa ng ritwal.”
