शासनं चेन्न दृष्टं वो नैव तत्पालयाम्यहम् । द्विजाः कोपसमाविष्टा ददुः प्रत्युत्तरं तदा

Transliteration

śāsanaṃ cenna dṛṣṭaṃ vo naiva tatpālayāmyaham | dvijāḥ kopasamāviṣṭā daduḥ pratyuttaraṃ tadā

Translation

“Kung hindi ninyo nakita ang utos o kapangyarihan, hindi ko iyon ipatutupad.” Noon, ang mga dvija, nilamon ng galit, ay nagbigay ng kanilang sagot.
