बृहस्पतिरुवाच । तपसे नास्ति सामर्थ्यं विघ्नं कर्तुं दिवौकसः । उर्वश्याद्या समाहूय संप्रेष्यंतां च तत्र वै
bṛhaspatiruvāca | tapase nāsti sāmarthyaṃ vighnaṃ kartuṃ divaukasaḥ | urvaśyādyā samāhūya saṃpreṣyaṃtāṃ ca tatra vai
Sinabi ni Bṛhaspati: “Walang kakayahan ang mga nananahan sa langit na lumikha ng hadlang sa gayong tapas sa pamamagitan ng lakas. Kaya ipatawag si Urvaśī at ang iba pang mga apsaras, at sila’y ipadala roon.”

Tapas is depicted as spiritually invincible to brute power; only subtle temptation can test the ascetic’s steadiness.
