कूपे तर्प्पणकं श्राद्धं शंसंति पितरो दिवि । संतुष्टा पिंडदानेन गयायां पितरो यथा

kūpe tarppaṇakaṃ śrāddhaṃ śaṃsaṃti pitaro divi | saṃtuṣṭā piṃḍadānena gayāyāṃ pitaro yathā

Pinupuri ng mga Pitṛ sa langit ang śrāddha na may tarpaṇa sa banal na balon; gaya ng pagkasiyahan ng mga ninuno sa Gayā sa pag-aalay ng mga piṇḍa.
