Listener: Assembly of sages (implied)
Scene: Sūta, seated before an audience of sages, declares that he is conveying Yama’s full account as heard in Brahmā’s assembly, from start to finish without doubt.
Purāṇic teachings are presented as an unbroken, authoritative transmission, meant to be heard as a complete whole.
Dharmāraṇya is the broader setting, but this verse emphasizes the authority of the narration rather than a specific tirtha detail.
None; it is a narrative assurance of completeness and reliability.
