यां श्रुत्वा मनुजः सद्यस्त्यजेद्विषयवासनाम् । तस्याश्चित्तं यथा शुद्धं वैराग्यरसगं यथा

Transliteration

yāṃ śrutvā manujaḥ sadyastyajedviṣayavāsanām | tasyāścittaṃ yathā śuddhaṃ vairāgyarasagaṃ yathā

Translation

Sa pagdinig niyon, ang tao’y agad tatalikdan ang mga pagnanasa sa mga bagay ng mundo. At ang kanyang isipan ay luminis—na waring nalubog sa mismong lasa ng vairāgya, ang pagtalikod sa pagnanasa.
