शबर्युवाच । पुष्पाणि संतु तव देव ममेंद्रियाणि धूपोऽगुरुर्वपुरिदं हृदयं प्रदीपः । प्राणा हवींषि करणानि तवाक्षताश्च पूजाफलं व्रजतु सांप्रतमेष जीवः
śabaryuvāca | puṣpāṇi saṃtu tava deva mameṃdriyāṇi dhūpo'gururvapuridaṃ hṛdayaṃ pradīpaḥ | prāṇā havīṃṣi karaṇāni tavākṣatāśca pūjāphalaṃ vrajatu sāṃpratameṣa jīvaḥ
Sinabi ni Śabarī: “O Diyos, nawa’y ang aking mga pandama ang maging Iyong mga bulaklak; nawa’y ang katawang ito ang maging mabangong insenso; nawa’y ang aking puso ang maging ilawan. Nawa’y ang aking mga hininga ang maging handog sa apoy, at ang aking mga kakayahan ang maging mga butil na buo. Ngayon, nawa’y ang kaluluwang ito’y lumisan bilang bunga ng pagsamba.”

The highest worship is inner self-offering—transforming senses, mind, and prāṇa into sacred articles of pūjā for Śiva.
