The Esoteric Teaching on Umā’s Kriyāyoga
लोहितैः करवीराद्यैः पुष्पैर्धूपैस्सुगन्धितैः । पूजयेन्मङ्गलान्देवीं स सर्वं मंगलं लभेत्
lohitaiḥ karavīrādyaiḥ puṣpairdhūpaissugandhitaiḥ | pūjayenmaṅgalāndevīṃ sa sarvaṃ maṃgalaṃ labhet
Sa mga pulang bulaklak—gaya ng karavīra at iba pa—at sa mababangong insenso, sambahin ang mapalad na Diyosa Maṅgalā (Umā). Ang debotong iyon ay magkakamit ng lahat ng uri ng pagpapala at kagalingan.

The verse teaches that auspiciousness (maṅgala) arises through devoted, reverent worship of Umā as the benevolent power of Shiva—grace expressed as harmony, protection, and right-ordered life.
In Saguna Shaiva worship, Shiva is adored together with His Shakti; honoring Umā with proper offerings complements Linga worship by acknowledging the inseparable unity of Shiva (Pati) and His grace-power (Shakti).
Perform simple pūjā using red flowers (especially karavīra) and fragrant dhūpa, offering them with devotion and purity of intent to Maṅgalā Devī for well-being and auspicious outcomes.
