Mahiṣāsura’s Conquest of Svarga and the Devas’ Appeal to Śiva and Viṣṇu

It highlights bhakti expressed as stuti (praise), showing that the Divine Mother’s presence naturally evokes reverence, sacred music, and upliftment—signs of grace manifesting in the cosmos.
In Shaiva Siddhanta, Saguna worship includes honoring Shiva together with Shakti; praising the Goddess complements Linga-bhakti because Shiva’s grace is experienced through the inseparable power of Umā.
Adopt stotra-pāṭha and kīrtana (devotional singing) as a steady practice; during Shiva worship, accompany japa (e.g., Panchakshara) with reverent praise to cultivate one-pointed devotion.
