Vibhrāja-vana

मार्कण्डेय उवाच । ते धर्मयोगनिरतास्सप्त मानसचारिणः । वाय्वंबुभक्षास्सततं शरीरमुपशोषयन्

mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | te dharmayoganiratāssapta mānasacāriṇaḥ | vāyvaṃbubhakṣāssatataṃ śarīramupaśoṣayan

Sinabi ni Mārkaṇḍeya: Ang pitong rishi ay laging nakatuon sa dharma at yoga, na wari’y naglalakbay sa loob ng isipan (panloob na pagninilay). Palagi silang nabubuhay sa hangin at tubig lamang, at sa gayong tapas ay labis na pumayat at natuyo ang kanilang katawan.
