Sagara-vaṃśa-prasavaḥ — The Birth of Sagara’s Sons and the Bhāgīratha Lineage
अर्कांशसंभवस्तस्मात्पुत्रो यक्षः प्रतापवान् । तत्सुतस्त्वगुणस्त्वासीत्तस्माद्विधृतिरात्मजः
arkāṃśasaṃbhavastasmātputro yakṣaḥ pratāpavān | tatsutastvaguṇastvāsīttasmādvidhṛtirātmajaḥ
Mula sa kanya ay isinilang si Yakṣa, isang anak na nagmula sa bahagi ni Arka (ang Diyos-Araw), makapangyarihan sa ningning. Ang anak ni Yakṣa ay si Aguna; at mula kay Aguna ay isinilang si Vidhṛti bilang supling.
