Diti–Kaśyapa Narrative
जुह्वानस्य ब्रह्मणो वै प्रजासर्ग इहोच्यते । पूर्वं यानथ ब्रह्मर्षीनुत्पन्नान्सप्त मानसान्
juhvānasya brahmaṇo vai prajāsarga ihocyate | pūrvaṃ yānatha brahmarṣīnutpannānsapta mānasān
Dito inilalarawan ang paglalang ng mga nilalang mula kay Brahmā, Panginoon ng paglikha, habang Siya’y abala sa paghahandog sa apoy ng yajña. Una, lumitaw ang pitong Brahmarṣi—mga pantas na isinilang sa isip—na nahayag mula sa Kanyang kalooban.

It frames creation as an ordered unfolding: even Brahmā’s creative power operates through dharma (yajña) and mind-born intention, while Shaiva Siddhānta ultimately places such cosmic processes under the supreme Lord (Pati) beyond the created order.
By presenting Brahmā as a functional creator within the cosmos, the verse supports the Purāṇic hierarchy where devotees turn to Saguna Śiva (often worshiped as the Liṅga) as the highest refuge beyond secondary cosmic agents.
The setting of yajña highlights disciplined worship and purity; as a practical takeaway, one may combine daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with a simple offering (dīpa/naivedya) done in a spirit of inner sacrifice.
